i'm back from camp..

and so i wasnt really a group leader.. more like group Instructor!

you know like those sec 3 camps those kind of instructor?? haha

and i dont look a tad bit like an instructor pls. Most of them are tann, sporty looking.. and trust me, you can never figure out their age. haha i think i look the kiddiest even tho i'm one of the older ones. heh Sometimes i even get mistaken as one of the sec 1 students esp with my squeaky voice! Zzz.

But thank God this was a good start for me and a pretty easy camp to handle cos we had all the student leaders to coordinate all the very naughty kids and some really "old bird" instructors around me.. So, i actually had time to speed learn how to do all the outdoor sports like rock climbing, abseiling, zip line....(just in case), tie ropes, save lives, bring the kids out to sea for water confidence and not forgetting, DRAGON BOATING!

yes. i actually stood at the front of the dragon boat giving commands. And the kids kept rocking the boat cos they simply enjoyed seeing me panick when i'm almost about to fall. haha.

Basically, i have to know it all and look professional.

Oh and initially i was quite worried about the fitting in part.. but somehow i got along quite well with most of them. Esp with my malay buddy haha. He's 31! looks 28 but young at heart like 23. kinda like rudy that kind. and He's always irritating me, wrapping me with the hammock and beating me. heh but yeah he has taught me well.

Actually the camp isnt that fantastic. (coming from a camp committee's point of view, Generations' camps are alot more organised and we put more heart and soul into planning. haha) esp with the kids driving me mad sometimes.. its really the company that kept me going. i mean, when everyone hangs out and laugh together..its really nice. :) but other than the fact that they keep laughing at me too. Seriously. whats so funny about me. tsk tsk. haha happens everywhere i go. boo.

but yeah. i'm starting to miss everyone now. haha so strange.

The best part was when all the kids come running to you, hugging you again and again, sticks to you..etc etc.. it was like aww.

What could be more satisfying than to know that they really appreciate you and all.

Seriously, if i had my weekends free i would gladly agree to stay on for the next few days and take on another school. :)

i think i'll consider this as part time. YAY! i mean really. although the pay isnt that good but i dont mind. and They asked if im interested and i said yes!! But i just may get ALOT darker if i keep doing it. haha.

OH OH OH ya!! i taught my class how to play the "chikok chikok chikok, bang bang bang" game haha so lame.. apparently they liked it but they're not exactly very good at it haha. so yeah.

anyways! its nap time and i'll have to rush off for rehearsal later. Oh God Pls pls pls pls help me. ESP when my throat feels so dry from all that shouting..
