jul came over to my place for a swim today. (and i'm like chao ta already. heh but the sun was glorious (: )
then we popped by cafe cartel for some LIGHT SNACKS. haha.
Free flow bread, Chef salad and banana crepes. for only $12 total.
How reasonable.
Thats because cafe cartel has like student promotion from 1.30 - 530pm every mon- fri.
You get 30% off your bill when you flash your student pass!
+ we get like free bread. (umm. free bread!!)
haha. i'm like advertising for them. but its 30%! our bill got like $7 off the total bill.
so hurray to cost saving!

CYCLING
OH OH!
i have another accomplishment.
Okay. this is like a super outdated post but....
i went cycling! errm and thats on like last wednesday. with tushan and martin. and i feel so healthy.
we cycled from the rental shop at ECP down to waterside area, then back down to lagoon for our dinner then back up to return out bikes. Its so FAR can.
But for that good 2 hours, i FELT like i did lose some Lard.
okay. I FELT. but i didnt actually haha.
so i guess we're going again next week. More workout! :)

my staminar is seriously BAD. after cycling, my legs went numb, my head was spinning and i felt like puking. so lousy. haha
Amazingly i didnt get like aching thighs the next day. Strange but true. :)

But I had fun. :)
we were cycling beside one another and chatting along the way. and they were nice enough not to cycle off without me. awww :)
And this Martin was super amusing.
He suddenly sped off to chase after this roller blading "hot babe" and followed her all the way from one end back to the 7-11 area. hahaha. Despo.

Then Tushan was just teaching me some cycling tactics along the way in his "scuba diving suit" haha.
kidding. it was his cycling gear. and he somehow looks quite good in it. esp with the sunglasses.
But he kept his promise not to cycle too fast. and i guess he was really cycling VERY slowly cos his was a road bike. haha
so i APPRECIATE IT.
so did Martin. always the one cycling behind. :)

anyways.
martin and i were so cha chadly dressed compared to tushan's "suba diving suit".
its like so "tat match".
i was wearing this shirt which says SPEED KILLS. haha.
hoping that people wont bang into me or the two guys wont cycle off without me.

Then after cycling, i took a bath and met PL, QS, Gary, Darius, Matt for another round of MINDs.
seriously. what is with that place right....... haha
we're even thinking of getting a membership there.
$10 for a lifetime membership (if they dont close down) and you get like 10% off each table.
but whats the point when all the guys are going army. (maybe peilian and i can make use of it then. (: )

yes. it was fun. and i WON again! in this game called bang? requires much brian power AS USUAL haha
and in citadel again too. but Gary manage to find points to add to his score so he won in the end. CHeater. haha kidding. :)

Then we went for Dim sum supper at Geylang. not fantastic but i thought it was OKAY. although they were complaining about how awful it taste.

Anyways. i ate so much.
and all my cycling went to waste that day.

Thursday.
Went to pick dajie up at pasir ris after his book out.
Totally cannot recognise him.
Then suddenly i saw this small guy waving at me. and i took a closer look. AIYO! So funny looking.
Standing beside all the other recruits, he looked like a boy and he's so SMALL haha :)
i used to think he was very tall and all, but i finally realised just how "small" he really is.
okay maybe not small. but not as big size as some guys i guess

Miss the hair. :)
and he's really charming.

spent every possible time i had with him becuase this would be his longest weekend out.

the next few weeks out will just be sat - sunday. and we have cell, church, commitments and priorities.
How to meet?
Now we understand just how tough this whole experience really is.
being a pillar of support is not as easy. I'm learning and being the best that i can. I hope.

on sat, dajie and i went to Kushin.bo. at suntec for dinner.
the food there is thumbs up.
okay. i mean to me la. cos taste is subjective.
SO. the bill came up to $91 ++ heh. I almost DIED! but Thank God he paid. :)
its a a jap buffet dinner la and the variety is Woah. so the price is justified. haha.

i mean.. Buffet is my forte. haha. okay whatever.
yes. so i was gorging myself with like plates of sashimi, alaska crabs (that's what i found out it was), and everything else.
we had like so much crab. just kept eating and eating and eating.
i never knew this place Kushin bo existed till that day. and somehow, everyone else seem to have gone there before or have heard about it. how come i dont know. HEH

Then we wanted to go mustafa to get like some stuff. but it was like jamed packed! we couldnt park and the car could barely move.
its interesting how places like little india, chinatown, etc take on an identity of its own.
like little india is really like india.
traffic jam, our indian friends everywhere, people crossing the road like there's no car, even the M1 calling card they sell has bollywood stars printed on it etc.
the road names are funny too. one of them is like what.. BABU LANE? hahahaha.
so amusing.
and its like chinatown is like china.
kiasu people here and there, pushing one another..

yup. anyways. we gave up and went to PS for a drink at starbucks before our movie at cathy.
(stupid GV's website, keep getting stuck. and its so hard to book tickets. dajie tried all moring but cant book at all)
but we manage to get seats at cathy for Transformers. so yay.
i like that show. feels like i'm all back to childhood times. :)
i think dajie and i have similar taste and humour preferences in movie we watch. everytime we find a show nice others will think otherwise haha oh wells. Its Subjective like i say.
