Our schedule was super tight.
everyday its; 2 morning sessions, 1 workshops and 1 night session.
Sunday we had 3 services in total.
i really wonder how the people can endure. By the end of the 2nd day, we were all drained out!
All of us practically lost our voices cuz we were speaking so much.
It was really an adventure.
Halfway, the power would go out and we had preach without a mic.
There are no walls in the church, so you have dogs running in and out.
They rear Pigs at the back,
and the weather is so Hot. haha
Every time we left the hotel our lives would be in danger cuz its chaos out there. haha
Its their water festival so everyone would be dancing to the techno beat (actually, the people have no sense of rhythm AT ALL haha)
you see people packing themselves into a small pickup van, some just hung on, some sat on the car roof etc. Oh my. so dangerous.
They have little or no traffic lights, everyone had pails of water and some water hoses...
It was chaos! haha
On the 2nd last day we got onto a taxi with no windows! so yay. we got wet. FYI, they added ice into the water. haha. so its SUPER COLD.
Oh yes, the Taxis. they only have one handle to wind the windows up. So you have to pass the handle around, fix it in and wind it up. haha. and one of our cab's wiper was broken off! poor guy had to wipe it manually. haha. It was hilarious.
Their inflation rate is horrible. Prices Tripled!
Out of the 6 days tt we were there, 6 days was the water festival. It's their new year so all shops closed! Sorry no souvenirs. :)
Oh wells, Apart from all the fun and adventure, the sessions were great. God moved and lives were changed.
So was mine.
I spoke like i've never spoked before, prayed like i've never prayed before. and probably the team will think thats how i normally speak and prayed cuz they have never seen me shared before. But i know sth was different there.
Its a Special Grace. :)
Their passion and hunger is so contagious.
Their servant hood and love makes you want to serve and love like they do.
Their faith makes you want to dream and believe for sth more.
I almost didnt want to come back. haha
